River Valley has something this year that they haven't had in several years..........speed! The size of the line has diminished, as has key lettermen. I believe they have only 6 returning lettermen. But the RV's of the past few years have been BIG, and SLOW. As anyone with any knowledge of the game...

This is going to be a tough match-up for a VERY young Raider team. They are headed in the right direction, but gonna take their bumps and bruises this season....good luck to both teams!

I was VERY impressed with Brown at QB on Saturday night!

I would have to go with Meigs in a very VERY close game! Two very good teams in this one!

1) Cincinnati
2) Pittsburgh
3) Baltimore
4) Cleveland

Very good game by both teams last night! I was very surprised to see RV jump out to a 14-0 lead at half...both teams I hope will have very successful seasons!

I remember my freshman and sophomore years at River Valley (93 & 94), we played Ironton those two years. I remember the 93 game was like 70-7 and the 94 game was like 48-14. Ironton in the OVC huh??? Just what RV needs!!

I remember it to earp!! I had about 3 layers on, and still got drenched!! I remember that was the last game of the season, and the win finished RV at 5-5, their first non-losing season in school history.

They beat Cleveland last night 7-3 to even up series.

BUT.....they cant keep doing this W, L, W, L.....or win 4 lose 4......at some point they need to go on a winning streak (8/9/10 games).....and make some noise!! I just dont know if they can do that kind of streak!! I hope!

Anyone think RV can improve on last year? Maybe hit the .500 mark? Eastern and Waterford should both be wins I would think. . . Possibly, I could see them beating Fairland, Rock Hill, Waterford, Eastern, and maybe the peake? It depends on how well they worked in the off-season rv will not beat fair...

Technically.....yes, all road games!

Yes, I think that the location of the new RV is a much better place for the kids.

RV is the Bidwell/Vinton area (which is where the new school is), and the Cheshire-Kyger area.
