I can see the very small schools like New Boston or Clay being coed, but there is no reason for it anywhere else. Even Valley and South Webster SHOULD have girls teams, but nobody is making a push for it. Probably the same thing at Belpre.

From what I have noticed so far, here are the changes for our area.
Minford boys to D2
Fairland boys to D2
Zane Trace boys to D2
Piketon boys to D2

No changes on the girls side of things that I have noticed.

Any potential news out there on teams adding or dropping soccer for 2023? I have heard that Ironton is possibly going to add both girls and boys soccer for 2023.

Marietta plays Waynesville next. Waynesville was the D3 state champ last year and moved up to D2 this year. They were the team that defeated Eastern Brown in the Final 4 last year.
