I know at this point in time kids are happy to still be playing and really don't care where it is, but leave it to the vast wisdom of the OHSAA to send the champion of the Eastern District into the NORTHWEST regional.

Could create quite a quandry. Should the Waterford boys win tonight and the girls win Thursday night...then they're both scheduled to play that night at exactly the same time.

Warren vs. Jackson has been postponed until Thursday, February 3.

Marietta vs. Warren...rescheduled for Wednesday, February 9

Waterford vs. Eastern...rescheduled for Saturday, February 5, 1 pm JV start

Fort Frye vs. Caldwell...not rescheduled as yet

How many schools are or considering doing this?

I know Waterford moved their game with Miller to tonight. Marietta and Logan have moved to Monday 1/3. And all MVL schools that are playing league games moved JV start times up an hour to 5:00.

Anyone else?

New Lex is 4-3 overall, 1-3 in the MVL. Wins over Nelsonville-York (50-42), Fairfield Union (54-50, OT), Miller (73-35), and Morgan (67-58). Losses to West Muskingum (44-57), Tri-Valley (31-45) and John Glenn (26-55). They're off until after the new year, next at Crooksville on Jan. 4.

Morgan also played without Vynalek. He's out for the first two games after being tossed out of the last football game of the season.
