Re: Who is the best running back from SEO in the last 5 years?

FalconFan, I think Locos meant that Parker played more than 5 years ago. By going back to a nice round number like 10, then Parker could be included. OZZIE, I was under the impression that JoJo didn't finish out his eligibility at Fairmont. If he did, then that's my mistake. I know he was quite succ...

Re: Jackson Ironmen 2008

Ewing will definitely be able to contribute. I can definitely see him at FB and ILB.

Thanks for the info.

Re: Who is the best running back from SEO in the last 5 years?

Mayes was a senior during the 2002 season so he probably shouldn't be included. Young's last season was 2001. Time flies.

JoJo Parker played at Fairmont State for a while...maybe 2 years. He was there with Jeff Bolen from Jackson.

Re: An Early Look at the SEOAL: The 2008 Jackson Ironmen

Locos,

Looks pretty good to me. I can't really be of much help with a lineup as of right now. Haven't heard much about this year's team so far.

Ok, thanks. I hadn't seen the scores on here so I was just curious who Jackson had lost to out of league.

Re: Jackson rally nips Gallipolis, 7-6

Congrats to the Ironmen.

I'll definitely take 7-3 overall and 5-1 in SEOAL play at this point in the season. Hope the Ironmen can keep it up!

Jottings,

Do you have all the results from Jackson's non-league games?

Re: Jackson-Portsmouth score?

Yeah, I agree. I'm very happy with the results I have seen so far from the Ironmen. I'm sure they'll have some tough games coming up, but getting off to a good start is very important. The more confidence and momentum you can build early, the better off you'll be later on. Things are looking up for ...

Congrats to Chillicothe! I didn't get to see the game, but I heard that it was amazing. Good luck to the Chillicothe seniors that will be moving on as well. As a fan of the SEOAL, I couldn't be happier for the Cavs!

Re: What Teams Do You Think Will Be Top 5 In The S.E.O.A.L

I would say Jackson's O-Line will be very solid, especially if Ryan Hughes is still there. You're definitely right, though. What those guys are doing right now in the weight room will go a long way in determining what they are able to do on the field this fall. Hopefully they're all working hard to ...

I hope you're right. The turnovers last year absolutely killed the Ironmen. If they take care of the football this season, I think they'll be just fine.

Re: Jackson AD job

Does anyone know if Paul Blankenship has actually applied for the job? He's the interim AD at this point, but is he willing to stay in that position after this year is over?
