Definitely some "bonus" points for Jackson. I would think Western Brown will handle Batavia next week also.

Zanesville lost to New Philly. Sheridan won.

Think London was beating Bellefontaine handily, which will set up a big Alder/London game in Week 10. Not sure about the Alder/Shawnee score tonight though.

Another nice win, but the turnovers and penalties are still a problem. Running out of time to get those things fixed. That record for Jackson is through 2015. The OHSAA website is incorrect.

Jackson is now 631-414-48 as of right now, as I mentioned above.

I’m not sure if anyone in SE Ohio comes close to topping Wheelersburg’s winning percentage though. Maybe Ironton, who is probably approaching 700 all-time wins.

There is basically a penalty or turnover on every play, it seems. You can't beat good football teams doing that stuff constantly.

Jackson out gained Trace 119 to 7 in the 1st Q, but only leads 7-0. Had a TD pass from Ice to Graham called back for holding.

Tons of penalties on Jackson again this week so far.

Stay focused, keep working hard, and keep improving.

This game was crazy last year, with Jackson winning 69-40. WCH has some athletes, so Jackson will have to be disciplined on defense. Take care of the football, and clean up the penalties.

Sounds like the Ironmen played a great second half, with the exception of giving up one big pass play. Running game was strong, hit some big passes that were set up by the run. Defense has been dominant against the run, but has had some secondary issues with blown coverages, etc. Getting Prater back...
