Re: Division 2 Tournament Southeastern
On paper Greenfield and Waverly looks like a great match but I’m not so sure. Waverly has the ticked off edge firmly on their shoulder. Not sure Greenfield’s guards are enough. I’d guess Waverly by double digits honestly Each team is trending in opposite directions, so I agree that Waverly wins by ...

Re: Division 2 Tournament Southeastern
That 3/4 court shot was at the end of the 2nd qtr. We know the shot was at the end of second Quarter, but it ended up being a game winner because Gallia cut the lead to 1 point with 1;43 left in game if the kid don't luck that shot in from 3 Quarters of the court Gallia could have been up 2 points ...

SVC Sports Zond tracks charges taken on their leaders page.
Piketon’s Blake Reader has taken 22 this year, while Unioto’s Cade McKee has taken 18.

Re: Division 3 Tournament Info
Adena should be the 1. They have 1 loss against a D3 team, with the other 3 being to good D2’s.
Piketon may be a school that teams want to avoid with their outstanding PG play.
The Jackson side is much deeper though.

That being said, Cam Evans wins.
Zach Fout, Elijah McCloskey, and Alex Blanton are locks for first team. Probably Nesser or Newland for the 5th spot.

Re: SVC POY
Huh?! The high school principals are scared of Unioto, so Swackhammer won Co-POY last year? Even though the principals have literally nothing to do with the voting? I’ve heard some anti-Unioto stuff on here before and some, if not most, makes sense...but, this one doesn’t. Last year’s player of the ...

Re: Top SEO Athlete Still Playing right now
Nobody is above Travis Shaw right now, but there are a lot of really good ones. Like Raider said, lots to choose from from Athens as well.

Re: Who's the best Athens Bulldog?
Posting stats is dumb? I'm sorry, do we think high school sports is something worth talking about or not? Because if not, get off this site and quit wasting your life. If it is worth talking about, posting stats (not criticizing anybody at all), to answer a question that has been repeatedly argued ...

Re: SEO POY (All 72 Teams)
Maybe we can get some statistical analysis from Mr. Moore from Athens about each player that I'm sure will be completely down the middle and won't have any bias behind it.

Re: Logan Sectonal
I'm sure that Fairfield Union will drop to the 4, but their schedule is very tough and they could push a Zane Trace in a District Semi Final. I just think that they are way too inconsistent to win, but they have some nice pieces.

Re: Who's the best Athens Bulldog?
So, just to be clear, I do not 'care' who the best Athens Bulldog is. I just think it's an interesting question to be asked, and I had the requisite information to answer that question. I think Eli Chubb, who is the 'worst' player on this list would be capable of averaging 20+ points a game with a ...

Re: Logan Sectonal
Fairfield Union is (12-7)? Tough schedule or not, that is a few losses away from being a .500 team. I'm sorry, I applaud the team for playing some tough opponents - but at what level is a team truly rewarded for that? A 22-10 Kentucky team never earns a higher seed than a 28-4 Gonzaga squad. LSU pl...

Re: Southeastern Basketball - What is going on?
Friday could be interesting. Huntington just beat New Hope, a team that Southeastern lost to by 26 just 3 days ago.
I thought that was the most winnable game left for the Panthers, maybe not anymore.

Re: Division 2 Tournament Southeastern
Honestly can't see how Waverly isn't seeded higher than Jackson based on objectively looking at the above. It gets weird at that point, because is Waverly over WCH, who they lost to head to head? And how could WCH be over Jackson, who they lost to twice? It will be interesting to see how this plays...

Re: Division 2 Tournament Southeastern
I think Greenfield is the 5. I’m not sure on the other 3, I’d probably go Jackson, Washington, Waverly, but would honestly be fine with any combination. I think the 3 is probably the most desireable spot, even though Gallia seems like a bit of an unknown, especially since they are to the Far East of...

Re: Southeastern Basketball - What is going on?
How are they talent wise? Young? I know their record is poor, but are they under achieving? How about JV/Junior High? Sometimes fans/communities have too high of expectations. Are they really THIS bad? Decent talent, not great. Ruby is electric and they should return all but one of their rotation. ...

Re: Southeastern Basketball - What is going on?
What is going on with Southeastern basketball? The chants for the coach to be fired by the student section at their recent game is a sign of dysfunction. When you are sitting your best players in crunch time and for entire 4th quarters, there is something wrong. Question is, what is it? Not ideal. ...

Re: Logan Sectonal
Fairfield Union over Sheridan helps them versus the others and could boost them to the 2, but a 6 loss team won’t jump a 2 loss team.
