Paint Valley Coaching Vacancy

It is officially a tough time to be a head coach. Tonight, Paint Valley voted to non-renew long time Coach Dave Shoemaker (3-2).

Obviously it is less desirable without Dylan Swingle in now, but it really isn't in a bad position with 4 starters back.

Washington CH Coaching Vacancy

Coach Bartruff stepped down earlier this week after 7 seasons as the HC at Washington. They are definitely going to miss him as I thought he did an outstanding job, usually with a very small lineup. The Blue Lions are coming off of a 3-19 season in which they didn't have a senior on the roster. They...

Greenfield McClain Non-Renews Coach

What a tough job that has to be at this point. They have a little bit of young talent, but it isn't a great situation.

Not even posted on the school website! Either has been internally filled or they are waiting for Carl Kramer to resign from Moeller after their State Championship tonight!

Re: Wheelersburg vs harvest prep

Serious recruiting question, is it worse to successfully recruit a player to your school or unsuccessfully recruit several players to your school? In my opinion, those coaches should be hammered just as much as someone who is caught successfully recruiting. Also, I'm pretty sure that 90% of the recr...

Re: Wheelersburg vs harvest prep

Harvest Prep recruits Wheelersburg recruits What are we arguing about? Who’s better at recruiting? No recruiting necessary. Until other HS programs get better where do you want to play in Scioto County? And academically you’ll do well. Like the field of dreams...build it and they will come. That's ...

Re: Who will replace Ed Fry at Meigs?

I'm pretty sure that I know of at least 2 current coaches (not Varsity) that would be very interested in this job. Guys who would be solid choices. Hopefully they post it soon if it isn't being filled from within. Would be interesting to see the names who would apply, especially since they have a so...

Good call. The SE District just wasn't very strong this year from top to bottom. What was the SE's record against teams outside of the District?

Re: Waverly Vs Unioto 3/9 @8:15

Wow... what a game! Both teams played hard and congrats to the Tanks on surviving and advancing! I honestly thought going into this game that the Tigers would be able to keep it close in the first half and the Tanks would run away with it in the 2nd half, figured it would be about a 15 point victor...

Re: Wheelersburg (2) vs Piketon (1). Thoughts?

Because Perdue is from Piketon. Played his freshman season there. Both schools have had their share of transfers I guess. Burg's are usually a little older I hear. Uhh, I'd watch it with that before someone brings up some Piketon facts on the older players comment lol Don't be bashful, spit it out ...

Re: Wheelersburg (2) vs Piketon (1). Thoughts?

 Someone on a Wheelersburg thread talking crap about another schools transfers!!!!! Bwahahahahahahahaha. That's why I thought it was quite ironic. It was mentioned about Burg earlier with a couple players but NOONE was saying anything about Piketon. Funny how that works. Not a burg or Piketon...

Re: SOUTHEASTERN VS EASTERN PIKE

Eastern should win, but if Hartman goes off like he's capable of, Southeastern will have a really good chance to win. The PG matchup should be a wash and Wheeler vs Miller will be a nice matchup too inside. Hartman's shooting ability will be a big key for EP to slow down.

Re: WAVERLY VS SHERIDAN

Sheridan has a ton of size and has one really good scoring guard. They don't handle pressure really well, so that's why I think that Waverly has an excellent chance to get the victory on Friday night.

This could be a sneaky good game.

Re: PAINT VALLEY VS OAK HILL

Noticed Paint Valley and Shoemaker stormed the floor after beating a 4 seed, so they may be emotionally out of gas. Also, what would the fan base do if they truly did upset someone? Jump the rails and dance on the bobcat? Talk on the radio about how unfair it is for them to play such big schools an...

Re: (13) Olentangy Orange vs. (12) Logan - 3/2

Should be a great game. Looking at Orange's scores and it appears that they can get out of system for what a typical OCC school does. I think Logan can get the Win, but they will have to play well.
