Re: Vinton County 2024

Dundas who’s your front runner Are there any dark horses I’d imagine Phillips would be the favorite as he was on staff last year and has head coaching experience. My dark horse would be Rod Bentley. He is a great leader and he also has twin boys that were in our program before he left a few years a...

This is the list of applicants that I have confirmed. Im sure there are more that I’m unaware of. Re: Marietta Tigers 2024

JM is just south of Wheeling, WV. Williamstown and Ripley are the two other most feasible WV schools, at least to me. JM could work for football only but if I’m not mistaken, those WV conferences are pretty spread out so maybe they wouldn’t mind the travel. Williamstown is a lot like Fort Frye. A s...

Re: Marietta Tigers 2024

Can’t have a TSL with 5 Ohio schools and 1 WV school. If so? Need to change the name. I see John Marshall is playing a lot of TSL schools this year. They could be an option. Yea you have a point there. Williamstown was rumored and is perfect in location but smaller in size. I did notice JM on a lot...

Re: Gallia Academy 2024

Letting Penrod go was a mistake. Carters success was Penrod’s kids that penrod developed from Jr High age. The talent is gone and If you think two 9-3 records were “good” you should’ve been at the games and seen the lack of coaching in the games that the academy lost. Talent won those games, lack o...

Weren’t they looking at an empty plot of land next to or near the school?

Re: Marietta Tigers 2024

Agreed on the TSL being a grind this year. And it will just continue to get tougher as these teams begin to see each other year after year. I prefer it that way, though. Man, if the TSL could just get 2-4 more teams, it would be a really really good, competitive league. As it stands, I like the mat...

Baldeagle, we played you all twice already and kicked your but, why would we run up north again just to kick it again. Just because the eagles are up right now and the marauder s are down, you want to run your mouth, Eastern is 3-21 against TVC Ohio teams. They beat River Valley the last two years ...

Re: Portsmouth lady trojans move on to final four!

There are some very impressive resumes of SE schools that have made the state tournament in girls basketball: Waterford leads the way with 7 appearances including 2024: 1 is state champion and 2 is state runnerup. Source: OHSAA.org. 1. Waterford: 7........2015 (2), 2016 (1), 2017 (2), 2018, 2021, 2...

Lintz with a steal and coast to coast layup at the horn. He’s got 17 and has been ridiculous. Bolin with 10.
Listening to the Mohawk radio broadcast and man, what a game this has been! Keep it up Hawks!!! #FearTheStache

Why would Jackson want to play TVC schools ?
The travel would be closer but there’s no way it would help Jackson’s football program playing in the TVC. The rest of the sports would be a great fit imo though.

Re: N W VS BURG

I watched the game with unbiased eyes and not one time did I think the referees had anything to do with the outcome. Northwest was just better and based off what they did to Portsmouth a few days prior, I don’t think they would’ve beaten Burg 7/10 times like one poster said. I think it would be more...

2 and have to be more competitive than OH has been surely I was talking all sports my fault for not stating that Since 2019 Oak Hill has won 9 games including 2 against TVC Ohio teams. River Valley has won 10 games since 2019 and has 3 TVC Ohio wins. Since OH moved to the SOC big division in 2019 I...
