No way to know until the competitive balance numbers are in, but a few teams will be close to changing divisions this year, based on the base numbers that are posted. Correct, it all depends on where the cutoffs are. Last year the fall sports divisions were announced on 4/22, so we will know soon.

Several of the OVC schools do not have soccer, so I don't think soccer will be affected by this. The only school that would make sense to make that move would be St Joseph, but I think they are looking for football schools with this expansion talk....

You have to keep in mind, we had been working to the 2018 numbers. Because of the pandemic, they didn't take the normal count in 2020 and carried the base numbers through 2021 as well.
