Peebles girls canceled their season. They did not have enough girls to field a team.

How did the boys weekend go? I know it’s preseason, but did anyone play surprisingly well? Any standout players?

Wheelersburg added Peebles, Huntington SJ, Unioto and Boyd Co (KY) to replace the lost SOC matches. They skated in being the largest D5 school. Coldwater is back to D5 also. Kirtland down to D6 and are joined by Trimble and Marion Local.

Not a coaching opening, but Ironton St Joe has dropped girls soccer. This is the 2nd time they have dropped the program in 5 years. I would suspect this will be the end of that and they will just be coed. With such a small enrollment, trying to have girls soccer and volleyball just isn't sustainable.
