Re: Waverly at Eastern (Pike) 01-30-21
How does a kid get away with asking to play JV only if he’s clearly a top 5 kid in the gym during practice? Because he's clearly not a top 5 kid, especially in practice. I'd imagine it's a family member or close friend posting that stuff. If he was good enough to play significant varsity minutes th...

Re: Waverly at Eastern (Pike) 01-30-21
Also, they had another starter not even come out this year. The older McBee kid started some as a freshman and didn’t play this year. He’s a 6’1 (ish) athletic kid who would have definitely helped. Hopefully he comes back out next year. Yeah I heard he didn't come out, which was a big loss, surpris...

Re: Waverly at Eastern (Pike) 01-30-21
FINAL 72-24 Wow! Looks as if they wanted to make a statement after last nights game. Or Eastern Is really bad? Flip a coin Burg beat Eastern 90-30, Valley had just beaten Eastern by 18 Friday night. Eastern is young, no real bigs and across the board they just don't have the horses to play in the S...

Re: Extended Season??
Spring schedules already done! How about not spreading the District Basketball Tournament out over 3 weeks? Given what is going on, NO schedules are already done. On paper they might be finished but as we've all seen they are far from being done. It is a ever revolving situation. I've always though...

Re: Minford at Waverly 12–15-30
My next question, What is the End Point? This Virus is not going away. Yes there are vaccines coming, however this virus will always be there. Kind of like the Flu never goes away. What happens when a player tests positive next year? or the The Year after? Will this be the protocol from here on out...

Re: Minford at Waverly 12–15-30
Exactly. Waverly is out because somebody went and caught it and passed it to a kid who goes to Miami Trace which i don’t even know where that is, and now 20 kids from pike county are sidelined. Maybe all of their parents should stay home from work too BUT if they already went to work, now that whol...

Re: Youth Football Coach Banned for Life: Assulted a 9 Year Old
WOW, I just kept waiting for ppl to jump his butt right there after the first hit. Now even the other coaches stepped in which makes them complicit it my book. Hope he enjoys some jail time, fired from his job and life changed because of Pee Wee football. I agree Madd-Dogg regardless of my kid or no...

Re: Best Jr High basketball teams this year?
Eastern 8th graders can shoot 3 pointers better than most high schools! I watched them play South Webster. They are going to be dangerous when they get to high school. The Leist kid does not miss and I think he a 7th grader? But Webster just beat Eastern in one of the best junior high games I've ev...

Re: Be Thankful Ohio HS Football Reached A Championship Conclusion
I agree. I love to trade jabs with the other teams fans but I’m glad that the seniors got to have pretty much a complete season. Exactly correct, got to speak with a young mans father just the other day about this. He was so happy because it was his boy's senior season and he made 1st team all conf...

WE ARE WEARING THE MASKS. EVERYONE IS WEARING THE GD MASKS. Virus gonna virus. The masked are doing very little if anything to slow the spike Lol, dang man calm down! Re: Waverly 2021
If Waverly needs a a week 1 opponent look no further than your recent last game. Clinton Massie also needs a week 1 game. If I was Waverly I’d say to heck with Fort Frye and schedule a home and home with Clinton Massie. I think that makes much more sense for Waverly. I just seen it on the OSHAA.org...
