Not surprising that a school has went to all remote and cancelled Fall sports. The OVC has enough schools in the league to continue will a working schedule but if only no other schools opt out ( and that’s a big if now ). I guess the DeWine edict comes out today so we’ll see ..

Have heard the workout numbers are around 25. Lots of young guys but optimistic that they’ll have enough players. Sounds like they like the new coach

Wasn’t Fairland a much larger school recently? I thought they were D2 in basketball and maybe even D4 a few years back in Football. I know they were a big D5 not that long ago.

First I remember. Green reached as high as #2 in 1987 season ..

Ironton returns a lot on O Line. DLine lost Jones and Fossen. Big losses but 33/36 back and look good. Secondary lost a lot too .

Ironton really needs to clean up fumbles and penalties. All strong teams left .

Green in early 90’s traveled to McDonald ( near Youngstown) over 4 hours and in the early 2000’s Green went to Cumberland Ky ( about 3 1/2 hrs ) . Pretty long trips. I remember Rock Hill going to Hicksville Ohio for a game. That’s about as far a trip you could do in Ohio..
