Re: RD2: Northwest (6-1)@ Bishop Ready (5-2)
The Obetz Fortress IS a great facility, but Northwest fans are advised to bring binoculars, which are needed to read down/distance/clock on either scoreboard.

Re: Rules and Moral Question
Team ... lining up for the game winning field goal. The kick is blocked and recovered by the other team but then a whistle comes in inadvertently (after the kick is blocked and recovered). ..... That's when the moral question comes in. You know you missed the kick and it was an inadvertent whistle....

Amanda CC and Circleville cancel Sept 25 games
We were notified earlier that Amanda would not be traveling to Hamilton Township for the game this evening, due to possible Covid-19 concerns. I know that Amanda had cancelled their JV game the day before. Also found out Circleville has cancelled their game tonight with Teays Valley for similar reas...

Re: Thursday- Africentric @ Briggs
Is Africentric good or are big schools like Briggs and Mifflin not football powers? Africentric isn’t good; Briggs is not good; Mifflin is generally not good, although not bottom of the barrel in the city. Wasn’t sure because you never know with private schools. All three are public schools (Columb...

Re: WK5 Logan Elm - Logan
Form what I've always been told from the guys I work with that live in that area is TV & HT don' t want the travel to Logan. Most residents are under the impression that Logan is on the Ohio river. Maybe the TV residents are under that impression. :) In Hamilton Township, we're a bit more cosmo...

Re: CoVid-19...How are you, family, area doing?
Hope everyone is hanging in there. In the Columbus area, the grocery stores are starting to settle down. My wife even found hand sanitizer a few days ago for the first time since the panic-buying started. Sadly, we lost a member of the Yappi forum (and a long-time JJHuddle) to coronavirus. Bevo was ...

Re: Ham radio operators...
Hey, OHHS old timer. My uncle who just passed away was a ham radio operator for nearly 40 years. He picked it up after 20 years as a comm specialist with the Navy. I remember his first antenna was a wire from the chimney to a tree out front. Then he bought a 50-foot pole antenna and attached to the ...

Re: The question from The Time Machine (1960)
When he goes back to the future, he should make sure he picks up an encyclopedia or digest containing the scores of all major league pro games played to date, so he can make a killing placing sports bets when he gets back. Well, maybe not in 1900, lol. Great movie, BTW. Did a nice job with the SFX a...

Re: Thankfull for sEOPS
I just hit the 10-year mark last week. Always enjoyed seeing different perspectives from when I was an avid Huddle member, and have learned more here about Logan, Chilli, Arnt'n, and other teams than I would have otherwise. Thankful nowadays, since SEOPS is the only way I can scratch that itch for a...

Not sure how Teays valley was qualified to host..parking was a nightmare nowhere near enough seating for the visitors.. the lines at the bathrooms were lined up and the concessions were running out of everything. Re: Week 12: 3. Waverly (9-2) vs 7. Bloom Carroll (9-2)
I watched them dismantle my alma mater (Hamilton Twp) 38-7 back in October. My recollection is that they were stronger against the pass. We had pretty much zero success trying to throw the ball, but had some success on the ground.MasterOfNone wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2019 9:09 am How is bloom carrolls defense? Good luck to the Bulldogs!
I was kinda hoping we at Hamilton Township would've hosted this one. Bloom Carroll hosted a playoff game we were in a few years back. Sorry I won't be there this weekend, but I hope it's a great game.
