Re: WEEK 1 HAMILTON TOWNSHIP@CHILLICOTHE

Looking forward to visiting Chillicothe again, beautiful traditional setting for football, and I expect a great game.

Go Rangers!

I'll still think good thoughts for them in 2011. Never say die.

I sat in the stands, with no affiliation to either team, and watched one of the BEST high school football games that I have ever seen. It reminded me of a heavyweight boxing match from back in the day. Each team stood on the field, toe to toe, throwing knock out blows at one another, and neither te...

Re: Regional Final- Region 19 Oak Hill vs. Fredericktown

Does anybody know a good place to tailgate since they aren't opening parking until 4:30? That's a toughie. You could try the parking lot at Scioto Downs, it's pretty big, they're mostly closed except for some off-track betting, and I don't think they charge admission at this time of year. Even thou...

Re: Regional Final- Region 19 Oak Hill vs. Fredericktown

Not at all, dbr770. Just trying to make it as smooth as possible for fans to visit. I see what you mean about taking Lockbourne Rd, but I would advise against it. It may save you a quarter-mile, but you would have to make two left turns to get to the school, and the intersection of Lockbourne and 31...

Re: Regional Final- Region 19 Oak Hill vs. Fredericktown

The vast majority of visitors to Hamilton Township are pleasantly surprised. We have a nice facility, and we treat our guests well, even the grumpy ones that can't say anything nice about our place (we charge them higher admission, though). We even made sure the field measures 100 yards, both east a...

Re: Week 5 - Logan Elm (1-3) @ Hamilton Township (3-1)

Sorry about that, I always think of the score as Visitors-Home. Hamilton Twp won 41-13. They also led at the half 14-13.

Yes, Jacoby signed on with Hamilton OH in February or March this year.

Re: Week 5 - Logan Elm (1-3) @ Hamilton Township (3-1)

Hamilton Township, 13-41. Close game in the first half, 13-14. HT did not run a play from scrimmage in the 2nd quarter until the last 30 seconds, then scored three times in the third quarter. Logan Elm did a great job neutralizing Josh Frakes, holding him to 29 yards on 3 carries in the first half.

Re: Week 5 - Logan Elm (1-3) @ Hamilton Township (3-1)

Here's an interesting what-if scenario: if the Rangers current starting QB wasn't ineligible last year, Bob Jacoby might still be coaching at Hamilton Township this season. But, the QB was ineligible last year, and the strong backup got knocked out for the season during a scrimmage. The next two wer...

Re: WEEK 1 - Chillicothe @ Hamilton Township

Both very poor football programs. Im goin with Hammy in a game where honestly it should be free admission to watch! Fortunately, the Ranger AD went ahead and decided to assess the customary attendance fee last night. Judging by the long line of fans still waiting to get in at 7:30, it must have pai...

Re: WEEK 1 - Chillicothe @ Hamilton Township

Great game for the Rangers. Lots of reason for HT fans to rub their hands in anticipation, but also a lot of work to be done and refinements to be made. The Chillicothe cupboard may be somewhat barer than usual this year, but coach Hinton, like a master chef, knows what to do with the ingredients he...
