Re: Anticipated Coaching Vacancies for 2022

Just my opinion Belpre-This is a maybe coach finished 1st year if they keep him he will be on hot seat Eastern-This is one interesting I’m sure his job is safe but since his kid graduated makes me wonder if coach pat will retire or not Meigs-Overall record 7-17 in three seasons not what I think Mei...

Re: Week 12: Trimble @ East Knox

This is that time of year when Phat Phil from Walnut Hill opens up the playbook a bit. You never know what he'll come up with. I've heard rumors of the Avalanche making a resurgence as well as the swinging gate. If I was East Knox I'd add an hour or so per day and devote that to defensing trick pla...

Re: Playoff attendance

$10.61 for early round playoffs is ridiculous. If you have a family member playing you bite the bullet but if you are just a fan of the game most will stay home. I used to go both nights but not paying this price to see teams I don't know much about. Come on man! Don't you want the OHSAA to recoup ...

Yea but if you want to convince Dundas84 you better beat them by 50 or they'll think Athens and VC could beat FF.

Re: WK 12: 8. Nelsonville-York (8-3) @ 1. Fort Frye (9-1)

Fort Frye lead all D6 in Harbin points meaning they played one of the toughest schedules in the state. Trimble not even close to the best team they beat St Henry and Zanesville both better than Trimble. LCC game got Fort Frye prepared for playoffs. Fort Frye won’t face a team tougher than Zanesvill...

Re: WK 12: 8. Nelsonville-York (8-3) @ 1. Fort Frye (9-1)

The thing is, Trimble isn’t very good and that’s what you hang your hat on. I’ve watched them play and they are below average. Trimble would beat the brakes off Athens, just like Nelsonville did. Well they had their chance in jamboree game and they didn’t Oh, okay that makes sense that you would ar...

Re: WK 12: 8. Nelsonville-York (8-3) @ 1. Fort Frye (9-1)

I understand that Nelsonville-York has improved. The thing is Fort Frye could of scored more on Trimble if they wanted to. Fort Frye ran for 300 yards without Owen Brown. The thing is, Trimble isn’t very good and that’s what you hang your hat on. I’ve watched them play and they are below average. T...

Re: Nelsonville-York @ Trimble

For whatever reason NY's opponents are pounding their chests and talking about getting "playoff points" by beating NY this year. Oh well, the Bucks love to play the underdog role. I think people are just wishful thinking that NY will be down this year. I agree they like to be th...

No worries there's zero things you can say that would change my mind on anything, your information isn't factually based more less you giving an overall opinion on a subject. I mean when I have to explain the rules to the officials I obviously know these classes don't work with everyone, and just b...

Re: Ironton v Burg 2021

There are going to be a lot of people very surprised this year. I mean VERY surprised. I heard last week's strength testing raised some eyebrows. Lack of Jimmie's and Joe's not an issue... It's always good to have at least one "Jimmy" on the team. And if you throw in a few "Joe's&quo...

Re: 2021 VINTON COUNTY VIKINGS FOOTBAL

VC will have the best senior class its had in a long time. I believe somewhere around 14-15 seniors. They should definitely win some games this year. Their non league shouldn’t be that tough other than Trimble. I expect 7-8 win season. Should be a good battle at the top with Nelsonville, Wellston, ...

Mr. 305 Does this team do any kind of camp at beginning of summer anymore? or do they do them but were impossible to do the last 2 years? I'm from Burg. but everyone down here knows how bad the history of football has been at Rock Hill its been pathetic for many years. Yeah, yeah, yeah R.H. had a couple of years of playoff appearance. Re: 2021 PORTSMOUTH WEST SENATORS FOOTBALL

First two games of the season are away for the Senators. That gives them some extra time to finish. Arbiter says the first 2 games are @ West. Did things change? Schedule I saw showed the first 2 games at home. Whether that has changed I don’t know Hearing a lot of good things about this team. Done...

With the season about 4 weeks away, what’s Athens looking like this year? Returning or upcoming talent? Re: Ironton v Burg 2021

That’s awesome...I didn’t even know they had started practicing yet! They haven’t. They are still in conditioning. Camp starts this week. Burg is going to be “small” but very fast on the defensive side. I think that’s going to be their strength. Offensively they will probably try to get to the edge...

Re: Nelsonville-York @ Trimble

Can't believe there isn't more banter on here about this game. That tells me neither team is over confident this year. That's good and means it will probably be another barn burner. Will it take a trick play or two to win it? If so, which team will be more tricky? Or, will solid defense and a strate...
