Re: SEOAL Expansion??

Some ECOL news: Orrville hosted a meeting to explore the possiblity of forming a new league last month. Dover attended. New Philly and Claymont did not attend, but rumor has it that if a new league formed they would be pressed hard to join. Dover and New Philly contacted another league somewhat in t...

Re: East, Green to square off twice in 2012

old bird is correct that Miller and Meigs Eastern played twice in the 1990's. It was two years in a row. Weeks 4 and 8. Both were D6 size and neither could find a week 4 opponent that was comparable in size and a reasonable distance away. Millersport is Buckeye Lake. Mapquest Buckeye Lake and you wi...

Isn't Oak Hill game week 9? They just need to be healthy enough to play one more week.

Re: Newark Catholic at Nelsonville York 2012

The Sheridan-Lakewood contract is for 2 more years. On the schedule theme of the MVL forum, it says the week 1 non-league games are assumed to continue until notified otherwise.

Per MVL forum, all MVL teams have full schedules for next season. In 2013, Philo has a week 2 opening and Crooksville a week 7 opening. 2012-14 schedules for all MVL teams posted on MVL forum.

Re: MSL realignment

It is not a done deal that Crooksville is leaving the MVL. But if they do leave, the MVL will have 8 teams and not look for replacements. The MVL schools are adament against divisions. The longest trip within the MVL is 1 hour 20 minutes and most trips are under an hour. Since the article did not me...

Re: SEOAL Future

Crooksville listened to a pitch from the TVC Ohio about 3 years ago and said no. Crooksville was also courted last year by the MSL small school division. That kind of fell apart as the MSL dealt with many teams leaving in the next couple years for the new LCL. Tri-Valley is not going anywhere. So Sh...

Re: Logan/Sheridan

Tri-Valley beat Upper Arlington in week 1. The MVL is certainly down and Tri-Valley and Sheridan will run through them like butter. The winner of their week 9 contest will determine the league title. Crooksville has a chance of finishing third and making the playoffs. Look for each TV and Sheridan t...

MVL not taking or giving

MVL turned down Warren officially (but quietly) last year. Crooksville not leaving MVL. MVL is staying 9 teams. Finishing one football non-league deal in 2012 and beginning another one (mostly with ECOL teams in 2013 for 4 years). Here is next 4 years of football schedules for MVL. http://muskingumv...

Re: SEOAL 2010

If the TVC added the 3 teams mentioned before, they might as well go to two 9 team divisions and cut down on non-league travel and the time, effort, and at time luck in scheduling non-league games. There are enough teams already playing from different divisions to keep schools from hunting for non-l...

Re: ECOL 2010

All teams that are going to be in the ECOL when it goes to divisions in 2011 got a vote. Cambridge, RiverView, and Marietta voted against Steubenville. In the end it did not matter, on Tues. May 18 Steubenville turned down the invitation to join the ECOL. Their school officials met with ECOL school ...
