I would not be surprised to see Miller make a pitch to enter the Mid-State League small school division. Not sure the MSL would want them, but the trips would be shorter and the roads would be straighter overall. Competion-wise it would be similar to now IMO.

If 7 schools want to be in the Ohio and 9 schools want to be in the Hocking, it is really not a big deal. The big thing is having an overall even number of teams. You only need 5 crossover games for no school to be hunting for a game weeks 6-10 (better if it is 7 crossover games so no one is hunting...

MVL off to a great start with an 8-2 record against non-league teams. Should win most of the 8 remaining non-league games. Should help a third team to make the playoffs with Sheridan and Tri-Valley likely to see week 11 as the top two MVL teams.

Shenandoah plays Newcomerstown the next couple years during week 2.

Oh, and I am pretty sure the current AD did not schedule the MF series. Heard it was a previous head coach.
