Marietta is playing against Athens on Tuesday at Don Schaly Stadium (Marietta College). I'm looking foward to playing Athens again and it should be a good one.

They will compete for the league this year. WIth Pierce and Hendrix as the 1-2 starters it will be very tough to beat them. I believe Eastern returns 7 starters from last year. From what I say last year (we played Meigs twice i think and Athens 3 times) I see Athens being the better team. But I'm not too sure how much either team lost.

Marietta will be strong up the middle.

2b - Cameron Bronski (promising sophomore)
SS - Evan Brockmeir (one of the smoothest fielders I ever played with)
CF - Zane Eschbaugh (2 errors all last year while starting every game)
C - Garret Kerr/Connor Hess

Evan Brockmeir and Tyler Brooker from Marietta are both two of the top pitchers in the area. Plus we have some really good hitters at Marietta like Michael Bauman, Lance Weppler, and Zane Eschbaugh.
