This is an opportunity for Logan to rebound and for VC to build on the season's success. This early in the season, things could go either way but I do agree that Home Court advantage is a definate plus.

One thing is certain, this years' team is not the same as last years' team. I think that there are a lot of positives about this years' Viking squad and I expect them to contend for the TVC Title. Approx. less than 5% of High School athletes make the transition to collegiate level competition...of those, less than 1% go on to play professionally. But what the heck, entertain offers from rival High School programs, alienate the community you grew up in, ignore OHSAA rules and live for the mome...

We weren't throwing the pennies on the floor, we thought from our experiences in Buchtel that in order to win, you needed to bribe the refs and we were just contributing to the refs.

I think that this years team will be different than other years but there are some very good players returning...we lost some players but we are still loaded.

Due to an unfortunate event with farm animals, Coach Eldridge was placed in the Federal Witness Protection program....truly our loss but at least the sheep can breathe easier now.

Hopefully this thread will remain on topic and not be hijacked as before. I think this years team will have a much different look than teams prior. There is quite abit of realized potential and even more that will develop as the season progresses. Any thoughts ?

OHSAA needs to expand their vision to include other schools who continually flaunt the rules governing recruiting...or else get rid of the rule altogether.
