Re: Week 3 Rock hill @ Oak hill
I just think Rock Hill will win this one. The only thing is that they have to travel up State Route 93. I would be interested to see what teams records are that travel that road through Lawrence County. Mercy it's curvy.

Re: Week 3: Portsmouth West @ Coal Grove
This game is a character check for both sides.
I predict that whoever gives up the first score will start to self destruct.
Maybe I'm wrong, but when you are 0-2, and get behind in a game, it is hard to come back from that.
Whoever scores first will win this one.

Re: Week 3 Chesapeake @ Symmes Valley
This could be a really good game. The last few years, regardless of each team's record, this game has always been a very competitive contest. It will definitely be a great environment. The Vikings ALWAYS play hard vs Chesapeake, and this game will be Chesapeake's first game on natural turf. I'm sure...

Re: Power Poll
Is it me or are most people severely underestimating Valley this year? They were one game away from playing for a state championship last year, are returning almost their entire starting offense and defense and gave Kirtland all they could handle and more. Valley is easily the best team SE Ohio and...

Re: What Supports Soccer
If a soccer player wants to kick for the football team, what is the big deal? It happens all the time. Drew Basil was a soccer player and kicker. Most if not all good kickers have a soccer background. If a soccer coach won't allow it, then that is just silly, imo.

Re: THE NEW LOOK OF THE NEW OVC 2015
Chesapeake (2-0) @ Symmes Valley(1-1): Symmes Valley has a lot of seniors, and Chesapeake has a lot of speed. The Vikings always play the Panthers tough, especially at home, but Chesapeake has a lot of weapons on offense this year, a very stingy defense, and pretty good special teams. The Vikings wi...

Re: Week 2: Alexander @ Chesapeake
Spartans come to play this week and get a close win. Curious to see how well Chesapeakes corners do against the Spartans receivers two nice size targets this year that go up after the ball. I believe the receiver/CB battle will be interesting. With a lot of Seniors on both squads, it should be an e...

Re: Thoughts on Field Turf
By the way, I have yet to see any Canadian Goose Poop on a turf field.
Those geese are nasty. I don't know if there have been any studies on the affects breathing, eating, or wearing goose poop, but I'm pretty sure it's bad for you.

Re: Week 2: Valley 1-0 @ Coal Grove 0-1
Time of Posession will be the key for Coal Grove. If the Hornets can hold and move the ball (similarly to what an eventual 2-8 Chesapeake team did to an eventual 10-0 Valley a couple of years ago for only a half/2nd half was a different story) then Coal Grove will have a shot. If Valley has the ball...

Re: Thoughts on Field Turf
It takes a piece of ground that is used 5 times a year, and turns it into a facility that can be used by ALL students at all times of the year. I used to be opposed to it, but seeing schools who have it utilize the turf, it's one of the best investments in facilities a school can make, if they have ...
