Paden City will play River very well, both coaches know each other after working together for many years at Paden City. These 2 schools should play in every sport offered. River made some mistakes, but played the Eagles well. If they came away injury free, River will more games. Magnolia is good and has a very difficult schedule facing them from here on. They should be play-off ready. Good luck to both teams. There are many good teams in the valley this year .

For teams that have been in the OVC, and for other leagues I'm sure, the league title does mean something. It's a payoff for the hard work of the season, community pride and bragging rights for the off season.
Only those who are arrogant or haven't won them say they don't matter.

Magnolia may be the best in the state this year. As all teams do, they must avoid injuries to key people.

Look for the Redskins to get Monroe again this year. Caldwell is playing well

Monroe did not have much team speed, they played slow and did not have an answer for Isaly. Good High School football game in week three. Hope to see many more. Tough game for the Pilots with Magnolia and Monroe with Caldwell. Playing good teams makes you get better if you can avoid injury.

Shenandoah is a tough place to play, seats on only one side, fans together, showers a hike from the field. They scored big on Frontier in game one and may score big in game two. Good test for both teams.
