Sounds like an exciting game.
28-14 Minford. Lewis back in the game and just got a pick six.
Piketon not having any trouble moving the ball but has to finish. 6 minutes to go in the half.

Re: WK5 Minford - Waverly
I thought I heard he would be out 6-8 weeks, about 5 weeks ago. I don't know how he is progressing. He would certainly make the team even better. I think they are aiming for having him back for the playoffs, given that Waverly has a bye the first week. Even if he only plays one side, the depth will...

Re: WK5 Minford - Waverly
I'm still hoping to get Shoemaker back this season. Just a junior and would have stated on both sides of the ball. Would be nice to enter the playoffs at 100% for the first time this season.

Re: WK5 Minford - Waverly
In 2017 Ohio State beat the number 2 team in the country at the time which was Penn State. The following week they got beat 55-24 by Iowa. Let downs after a big win are all too common. Waverly's going to have to dig deep and as someone else said, "be uncommon". Huge game for this Tiger tea...

Re: WK5 Minford - Waverly
Interesting game for Waverly. It's just so darn difficult to come back after a big emotional win and play well. Somehow they've got to muster up the energy and determination to get it done. Minford is a good team. We can not afford to take them lightly in any way.

Re: Week 3. Waverly vs Valley
Waverly cannot afford to listen to these predictions and take the Indians lightly. Waverly MUST stay focused and on mission. This game is at Valley and I remember the Tigers needing a pick 6 down there fairly recently to win a game they were highly favored in.. TAKE NO ONE LIGHTLY IN THIS SHORTENED...

Re: Week 2 West at Waverly
As of now the weather looks to be exceptional Friday. Dry and 69 degrees at kickoff. Doesn't get any better than that.
Wonder if there is any chance DeWine relaxes the attendance policy so a few more folks can get in this week?

Incredible comeback win for the Tigers against a very good team!
Our radio crew is awesome Fun listening to their call. How the heck do you get to sleep after that finish. Lol

Re: Creative Ways to Watch The Games
Well I have a really nice Drone. DJI mavic 2 Pro. The screen is absolutely amazing.
I could take off in the parking lot and hover about 200 feet above the action at one end of the field. You think anyone would notice. Lol

Re: Granville at Waverly 08/28/20
Sure is good to see Wolf back at full strength. He should have a stellar year.
I heard Harris looked good running the ball in the second half. Hopefully he's back to near full strength after last season.
If Waverly can avoid the injury bug we'll be fun to watch.....if even only on TV.

Nice to hear from you locos. I am not advocating for anything just wandering about certain things.... Will school bd members, High school teachers, coaches from future schools allowed to scout, concession stand workers, allowed to attend.. How do you handle the visiting team tickets, are tickets so...

Re: Waverly 2020
I'm interested in seeing who runs the ball for Waverly and how effective the running will be. Defense will have to be significantly better than last year to win the "BIG" games. Looks like they will get a huge test right out of the gate with a quality opponent. I'm still concerned about to...

Re: Chaos In Ohio Football...Season On The Brink
You would have to think the testing requirements will be relaxed somewhat or all together. Otherwise I don't see how we can have a season. I would also think DeWine knows where things are headed with the issue of COVID testing. Why would you do the planning and prep if you knew the season wasn't goi...

How can you take what DeWine just said as anything but, We are going to have a football season! Left up to schools, parents and there will be a restriction on the number of fans.
It's a go! Details coming Tuesday.

Re: OHSSA shortens season
Of the six games being played you would think conference games would take precedence.
I look for Dewine to give the ok next week and give the decision on fans attending. Sure hope they decide to allow at least some fans to attend. 25% capacity of something like that.

Re: 2020 Football Season
The next three or four weeks are critical to our chances of having a high school football season. If we can get the numbers (virus) going in a better direction I like our chances. People need to wear a mask when out in public. There is overwhelming scientific evidence it makes a difference. And if e...
