What are the expectations for this year's team? I know they have struggled in recent memory. Anybody from Gallia give me their reasonable W-L outlook?

Any news from Gallia County on this year's team? The past few years haven't been pretty and they have fallen hard and fast. Hopefully they can return to form.

I think "back in the day" Ironton had a mental edge in those game in the belief of "we are Ironton we are suppose to win" and that belief has slowly faded away.

I always like these week 1 rivalry games. Just wish there were more of them. Piketon Waverly not in same league is great. Burg Ironton as another. I wish Portsmouth and West would play week 1. 7-3? Maybe. They have slim/no chances at beating NY, Athens, and Waverly. Meigs, Vinton County, Gallia Academy could be either way. Gallia just because huge rivalry game. But I see 7-3 as best case. Maybe I'm wrong though. Time will only tell.

I think Wheelersburg has the done a very good thing in scheduling tougher opponents outside of the SOC. Wheelersburg doesn't get a lot of competition in the SOC. Chillicothe has to be the favorite as of now. After some 7 on 7s and then scrimmages, we might have a better idea. Excited for this new league.

Ironton vs Burg. These games use to favor Ironton, and then they got very competitive but now, Burg has to be the favorite. At least, until Ironton can prove they can compete again.

Waverly has to be the favorite here. The all time record favors them and they usually have Piketon's number. However, it is a huge rivalry game so anything can happen.
