Re: Week 5 Wellston @ Fairland
Congrats Rockets. Impressed with Wellston's toughness when they played Oak Hill. Keep winning.

Re: Week 5 Oak Hill @ Minford
eeek... Looking at the remainder of the schedule for the oaks, they cannot afford a loss. If so, week eleven may come and go without them present. Minford was enough to handle them without a significant player and a few other banged up guys.. Great teams are able to overcome this and march on. so, ...

Re: Week 5 Oak Hill @ Minford
Congrats to Minford. Oaks fought valiantly... need to get healthy. Playoffs and league still out there to grab. Hopefully both of these teams get in the playoffs.

Re: Week 5 Oak Hill @ Minford
I liked the call, it took pressure off pickle and let him kick- where is is comfortable. If made it, it would have been a good boost for the whole offense. Don't start the " I can coach better than you can" crap Coach Slone and Phillips call the offense=== let's keep it there. 4thekids, Y...

Re: Week 3 Portsmouth @ Wheelersburg
I'll take the Burg in this one. I believe it will be close. Burg better find a way to get pressure on the QB. It was something they failed to do against Oak Hill, which made it awful difficult for them to get stops on defense.

Re: Week 2-Wheelersburg (0-1) @ Oak Hill (1-0)
Oak Hill has a very good team. They have a great passing game and Western Hale in the backfield. I expect them to compete for the state title. Congrats on the win Oaks. I agree that they are a very good team, and expect another playoff run, but beating the likes of Youngstown Ursuline and Coldwater...

Re: Week 2-Wheelersburg (0-1) @ Oak Hill (1-0)
Congrats to the Oaks. It must have been a great time last night enjoying the big win. As far as quality wins, I stand by what I wrote. Show me the consistency and tradition the Burg owns and I'll show the Oaks or any other area team the same respect. You don't get it by a couple of good years. If y...

You gotta love the internet. Where else could idiots make such a$$es of themselves. I don't have a dog in this fight but find it funny that after Oak Hill won they start talking smack. If you didn't predict this "7 point" blow out then STFU. You beat the Burg, big effin deal, they are a b...

Re: Week 2-Wheelersburg (0-1) @ Oak Hill (1-0)
Not surprised Oak Hill won at all! Burg really struggled in covering the pass. Slone hardly missed a throw all night. Very good high school QB. He just doesn't make bad decision with the football. Oak Hill's running back Westen Hale is so hard-nosed, he is just able to find the holes, and squirt thr...

Ironman02,
Seoal definitely not a joke in my eyes. More of Jab at Logan and the scheduling crictics. Just think it is struggling right now...might even meet its demise soon. Wonder what proud programs like Jackson and Gallia Academy will do?

Re: Paladin's Pigskin Picks - Wk. 1
Let's wait and see how things look in Week 10 before we go judging an entire conference because one of its teams just lost to its archrival for the first time since 1989. Not trashing Jackson, Ironman02. Just don't believe the Seoal is as strong as it used to be. More making a point that Logan has ...

Re: Paladin's Pigskin Picks - Wk. 1
The ole' SEOAL ain't what she used to be. Don't let the Logan posters fool you. They know it! They dominate the league and bow out off the playoffs in round 1 or round 2 every year. Why? Ask Paladin, he knows the answer...Schedule strength! Logan plays the big boys (Division 1) early on, but after 7...

Re: 2010 SEOAL Previews: Portsmouth Trojans
Anxious to see what Portsmouth will do this year. Won 7 last year, but didn't beat very many quality teams with a winning record (Combined record of teams beaten 22-48). I Wonder if Portsmouth can get over the "hump" this year and beat the best teams on their schedule this year?

Re: Logan Elm vs. Shawnee
You know, you really hate to see losses like this. Well, that's just how sports are; win some lose some. Anyways, I'm very proud of this group of seniors and all of the work they've put into helping build this program the last two years. Good luck in everything else you do boys and enjoy your senio...

Re: Power Poll after week 11 from T_FB_A
I never said the seoal wasn't good? Anyone thinking that is insane. It's a tough league, but some people act like the Seoal is by far tougher then the SOC. SOC vs SEOAL schools this year Ironton-24 Burg-8 Burg-68 Portsmouth-14 Ptown-21 West-20 Jackson-33 Waverly-25 Pretty sure thats all of them, if...

Re: D5 - R19: (2) Oak Hill vs. (6) Ridgewood at Lancaster
It wasn't really Ridgewood's speed on offense that beat Oak Hill. It was the speed of their LB's that caused the problem. I am not saying they're not fast, but I don't think they were any faster than Burg. Blown coverages hurt Oak Hill more than their speed on offense. #5 was pretty much contained o...

Re: Power Poll after week 11 from T_FB_A
What games did you see minford, oak hill, or burg? Same for you ytb how can you say that the seoal is a more physical league when I doubt you have seen any of the soc teams play except burg week 1 The SEOAL wasn't that good this year! If some want to play the who beat whom game. Try this one on for...

Let me remind everyone again that these are kids!!!!!! I can't believe the stuff I hear people say about kids playing a game. As buckeye21 said, You don't know the kid at all. He is a great kid, a great student. He is a very respectful kid and not cocky at all. It amazes me how some get their kicks ...
