Re: D III R12 Qtrs: #7 Jackson (10-0) at #2 Athens (10-0)

Either I bumped my head, or the world turned upside down. I could have sworn he coached at Logan also He did coach at Logan but wasn't the head coach Everybody is wasting their time!!!!!!!!!!!!! Paladin won't give you his coaching record. It has been asked many times. He just changes the subject an...

Re: Week 8: Columbus St. Charles (2-5) at Jackson (7-0)

I understand the difference in scheduling, and that ST.C has played some tougher teams, and has depth. But, speaking from a an outside perspective from a guy familiar with both teams, if you don't beat St. C by 3 touchdowns then I'd nearly consider it a failure. [/color] So what you are saying is t...

Re: Week 6 Logan @ Gallipolis

Gallia had 6-0 Athens beat for a while and with a little break they could have beaten Ironton I don't think Gallia beats any of the teams you have played so far either. They were probably the worst team you have played so far... that is the point I am making. I just don't think you can definitively...

Re: Week 6 Logan @ Gallipolis

Big win for the Chiefs. That early season bear of a schedule has finally paid off. Logan could salvage something out of this season now. Big confidence boost with this win on the road. Trashing Coach Eddy and the staff doesn't help, but this is America and you can say what you want. Yep... Paid off...

BTW "tradition", I love your name.. Funny thing is when Warren played Jackson in my days (late 80s), Jackson was horrible!! Our JV scored on your Varsity at Jackson in '87. Yes they were that bad!! Who cares what happened in the 80's? I bet you were good though! Probably even still tellin...

Re: Logan Football

I am just shocked that playing this tougher strength of schedule hasn't made these players better prepared to win some games! Love to see when a program faces adversity. Lets you see who really supports the program, and who is just looking to lay blame. After seeing some of Logan's Jr high teams the...

Re: Week 4: Jackson (3-0) @ Logan (0-3)

I'll take a stab at that, piggy. Logan continues to play a difficult schedule. No one is assured you can win it . However, based on last year, Logan had serious injury to several key players , yet finished in the upper half of the SEOAL with a new coach. This year is still too early yet for an eval...

Starting to wonder if there is any really good teams around the area this year? Thought Tigers were the cream of the crop. Might still be, but surprised by this one.

Re: Week 4: Jackson (3-0) @ Logan (0-3)

Haven't heard much the last couple of years about how Logan's schedule makes them better. :122246 :122246 Seems like to me it pretty much just makes them 0-3 when entering league play! It really doesn't matter who you play when your talent level is down, it is hard to win. Maybe Amyx got out at the ...

What is wrong with Minford? Thought they would be better than they are showing. This is not a strong Meigs team in my opinion and they just took Minford out behind the woodshed!

Re: Week 3: Gallia Academy (1-1) @ Wellston (1-1)

Prater is a heck of a football player no doubt. It just seems like he can not make it through a season without getting injured (from what I have read over the last 3 years). I could be wrong, but it seems like he has been out or missed parts of more games than he has played over his career. When he ...

I can't wait until jackson comes to tanks, we haven't forgot last years triple overtime loss with our best back suspended and 3 starters hurt. WE GOT THAT ONE CIRCLED. Re: Oak Hill Football 2011

Hopefully KINGheat is a kid. If not, I believe (after reading some of his posts on SEOP) he must be one of the most arrogant individuals in all of Jackson. Thanks for making the rest of us look a whole lot classier. Hopefully Jackson will win them all in the regular season and get over the hump and ...

Re: Oak Hill Football 2011

Sometimes in small division football you will have a big group go and the cupboard will be bare next year...you have to remember oak hill is almost a d6. You also can't coach experience, it doesn't matter how much you prepare kids when they get on the field for the first few times on a Friday night...

Re: Oak Hill vs Zane Trace, District Finals

Zane trace should have gone after Burton. They allowed her to stay on the court. Not once did they toss the ball in the post once Burton got 4 fouls, and try to get her to foul out of the game. Not sure why. It was their best offense. Zane Trace's big girl scored most of her points from the line. Th...

Re: 3/5 - Ironton 28 vs EASTERN BROWN 31 - FINAL

Good defense...maybe, but both teams took less than 20 shots for the whole game. Don't think defense was the real culprit. Sounds more like poor offensive execution or unwillingness to shoot the basketball. That is garaway's game, and it has worked well for them, so it is hard to knock them too much.

Hard to believe this statement. Tournament games have official scorers and teams keep a book also. Shouldn't be any way to get this wrong.
