The Buckeyes continued their dominance in B1G play, this time with a 4-0 win over Nebraska. They next play at Kentucky on Wednesday.

In a surprising outcome, Minnesota earned their 2nd consecutive national championship in women's ice hockey. The win for the Gophers ended #1 Boston College's bid for a perfect season, by defeating them 3-1.

In dramatic finish, Columbia earned their 2nd straight national championship in fencing. They had a solid lead after day 3 of 4 of the competition, and ended up only winning by 7 total points over runner-up Ohio State, 174-167.

Unfortunately for the Bobcats, they were outlasted by NIU in the final game of their conference opening series, 3-1. They will next host Ohio State on Tuesday.

The Buckeyes won their 3rd conference match in as many tries this afternoon, by blanking #23 Michigan, 4-0. Their next match is when they host Iowa on Friday.

OSU was able to defeat Northwestern in the final game of their 3 game set, 5-4. They have now won or tied their first 3 series of the season. They play a single game at Ohio on Tuesday.
