Re: 2019 Gallia Academy Blue Devils Outlook

I would assume there may be a kid or two transfer because they didn’t get the playing time they thought they should even though they weren’t good enough. It happen in the past when GA was winning. And of course the current HC at RV did a lot of recruiting in town when he was at SG so he may be doing...

If there's a coach who knows Peck's strengths and weaknesses as a coach, it is the DC from SG...

Should be an interesting X and O match-up.
I'll take the DC...

So what did Sparling do to you to be so hateful? I’m not sure anyone can win with this group. Again, too many “me’s”.

Re: Week#8 Vinton county @ River Valley

They also dropped Waverly for SG. Waverly was a better team than both P-town and CG. So overall it may be a slightly easier schedule. VC, Wellston, and Meigs are not as good as they have been. Alexander a little better but was a very winnable game. Too many “me’s” on the team from that junior class....

Re: Week#8 Vinton county @ River Valley

I know some of them went to college but most of those players didn't last a season in college. I'm not sure any are still playing. I'm sure those players have racked up a lot of tuition debt at those private colleges. Just hope Sparling considered the debt that those players have. Your post is dumb...

Colter Cleland, the freshman QB from Meigs has been impressive this season. Anytime you have a freshman QB on varsity is impressive.

Re: River Valley Job Opening

I wouldn't exactly call the team from this year "up and coming". More like not very good and likely more of the same moving forward unless the kids start putting in the work and they get a stand up guy who is respected by the kids, but also builds relationships with them. I would have to agree with...

Re: TVC-OHio WK6 (2-3) River Valley @ (3-2) Wellston

Sounds like Penrod's success is starting to catch some attention among area talent. I was thinking a little farther than in town. Maybe cross a couple bridges. That's where the grass is the greenest. Sounds like a good place. Up 35 will take him to.... I don’t think they would. Not up to their stan...

Re: FAC Opening Week: (4-1) Jackson @ (2-3) Washington

Agree with that poo. I hope Jackson works on throwing the ball in practice this week. They have excellent Oline and backs. 74 is a load. If they can develop at least enough of a passing game to keep defenses honest it will open up the running game obviously. And the coaches need to have enough conf...

Re: GA Football Job

Was the new youth program designed to compliment the varsity or as an attempt by some people to prove that they know better than the high school coaches? IMO I don't think the varsity staff had much control as they should have. A lot of upset parents this year because of the league they got into. N...
