I believe it is all burg again this year. They return a great core of starters, and backfilled their departures very nicely. It is very possible that they are as good or even better than last year. They should have 6 senior starters, and a 2 or 3 very talented sophomores stepping into larger roles.

People can talk about this team and that, but until Ironton actually loses to an OVC team you have to consider them the class of the OVC.

In all seriousness, I think Ironton finds a way to pull this one out. We got exposed in several areas, and have some adjustments to make. Big week of practice ahead.

Ironton wins this game easy. We have the talent, the depth, chemistry, and the speed backs to get it done. Wheelersburg got lucky, and caught us on an off night. The Tigers are the team to beat in Southeastern Ohio followed by Burg and Portsmouth. I predict Scott will have 340 yards and 8 touchdowns.

Haha I couldn't resist. Good luck to both teams. I'll have one on the field in a Tiger jersey, and a daughter in the Burg student section. Fun times.
