Re: Does Ironton need to consider a new offensive coordinator?
So Ironton doesn't make sure their student athletes are promoted equitably? Good question. I’m sure the school will continue to do the commercial stuff during all the sports seasons. I think each program has a responsibility to market themselves. It comes down to which program decides to do it or n...

Re: Does Ironton need to consider a new offensive coordinator?
Yes the playing calling can get better but that applies to over 80 percent of the teams in this area. To run this coaching staff down like this is crazy. Good luck Tigers and thanks for a great year! By the way it is ok to run this coaching staff down and the moderators do nothing. But mention a te...

Re: 2024 Ironton Fighting Tigers
Will Pendleton be back or will he be looking for a head coaching job elsewhere?? He was this year before the season. I'm guessing this was supposed to say this was his last year. All Ironton head coaches positions are renewed every year. It will be up on the tigertown website if anyone wants to app...

Re: Ironton v Harvest Prep
I wouldn't doubt this however I'll say that. Southeastohioians talk all this junk about their quaint tight knit communities and yet they are always the very first to talk down on their neighbor. So par for the course if true. IF. Cause southernohio innuendo is about as dependable as a Jerrod Pendle...

Re: D5 R 19 #16 Worthington Christian @ #1 Ironton
WC was never going to hang with IHS. Result of game was never in doubt. However, the predictions of Ironton’s demise are ridiculous. IHS is the defending champ of the region with the most talented roster. They are the favorite to win the region. Expect IHS to beat Heath by 2-3 scores or more, howev...

OHSAA set to bring in close to $7-$800,000 from the first round alone. I can't see them giving that up anytime soon.

Re: Bring on the Ashland tomcats
Huntington is the best team in the Tri-State far and away. They have the best player in the area in Zah Jackson. Robby Martin is the best lineman in the area. And they got 4-5 other guys who can burn you if you key on Jackson. Defense is a great defense that would give anybody problems from the fro...

Re: Bring on the Ashland tomcats
I just wish someone would take responsibility for this series not being picked back up. Both cities blame the other side for backing out. I really think that this year's teams would be a heck of a game. The last couple years would've probably been blowouts Irontons way.

Re: Fairland v/s Portsmouth
My least favorite field in the OVC, Gallia is right up there to. Hopefully I can see an upset Friday night but it will definitely be tough , this game could very well decide our play off hopes. Exactly why don't you like the field it's the best looking grass field in the tri state is it because it'...

They had some yards though the air against Ironton. Thier little roll out was pretty effective.

Re: Why An Ironton Victory Is The On!y Acceptable Outcome Saturday!
A loss will not hurt Ironton in anyway. Midland is 4x the size as Ironton. For it to be a win or bust situation for Ironton is just ludicrous. For Midland on the other hand a loss could be embarrassing knowing how small of a school Ironton is. IMO Midland should win this game by two scores.

Re: WK3 2-0 Fairland v 2-0 Ironton (OVC CHIP)?
Terry is a great player but to small for d1 Deuce Vaughn, Dallas Cowboys, 5-5 179 lbs Deonte Harty, Buffalo Bills, 5-6 170 lbs Marquise Brown, Arizona Cardinals, 5-9 180 lbs Shaun Terry, Ironton Tigers, 5-11 175 lbs. Yea you're probably right. Terry too small? You obviously don’t know size.Maybe 10...
