I could be missing a few but those were the ones that stood out to me just quickly scanning.
I wonder how far west they will bring teams from? Teams like Wilmington, Western Brown, Batavia, Goshen, etc.

Re: Notre Dame vs Western D4 Sectional Championship

On paper, it seems like Notre Dame by 12-15. I think Western closes that and at least makes it a single digit game. Anytime you have two players that can score, like their guards, you have a chance. Western's problem right now is they always end up with at least 2 players on the floor with those 2 w...

Re: How will the tournaments work next season?

Yes, they would be division 4 based on the example breakdown. That may be off by 10-12 in enrollment due to some teams moving up and down in enrollment numbers or competitive balance.

Re: How will the tournaments work next season?

I think the SE will have to join in with the SW from the example I saw. If they want the district format to stay, they would have to, unless some SW teams came this way. By the looks of it, Logan would also be included in the new D3. The "example" number they gave will not be concrete. Thi...

Re: OHSAA: Behind Closed Doors..Adding Basketball Divisiosn

It did the same for football at one point too, though. That small change for a big D2 school is better than asking a school with 340 boys to play schools that have 1300. They basically are just giving the middle finger to the smallest D1 schools and saying good luck!

Re: OHSAA: Behind Closed Doors..Adding Basketball Divisiosn

There is not a huge gap with all divisions, like there is for D 1. D 1 is a joke how they divide it up. Football got it right and now basketball needs to follow the same path. Differences in enrollment from the divisions top and bottom number teams: Division 1- Mason has 1300 boys and Bedford has 34...

Re: Wk 2: Washington @Western Brown

Well, Western was able to squeak one in past Hillsboro and are replacing a ton of starters from a year ago.

How is Court House? Are they bad or is London that good? Guess we will find out this weekend and the next.

Re: Jackson vs Western Brown

Western Brown would greatly benefit if they were D2. Even more so if they were D2 in the southeast. They are in the toughest D1 sectional in all of Ohio, arguably. We don't get to see them as much, unless they play Lynchburg, us (Hillsboro), Jackson, Eastern Brown or Greenfield. They seem to always ...

Re: WK 5 Western Brown (3-1) @ Miami Trace (2-2)

Western should roll by 21 or more. Rumor is Novak is a little banged up from the Jackson game though. Took a shot to the knee late. I'm sure he will still be ready to roll. Kid is a gamer. 42-21 WB.

Eastern Job

Have not heard too many names thrown around. Expect this one to last a couple more weeks. Two that I’ve heard so far. Not going to name names. One works for an in county school already (not a varsity coach). The other is related to another coach who was hired recently in the county or area. Whoever ...

Re: Head Coaching Vacancies

Buckler would be a good one to look into. He's done well with the JV program for years. Have not heard too many names for the Eastern job yet. Not sure if they are compiling a list or trying to keep it quiet for someone they know or want to ask first.

Re: Evan Legg Steps Down From Piketon

I doubt Williams leaves Georgetown after establishing something there that he likes. Ive heard their talent will be down for a couple of years though. On the other hand, he'd have to be intrigued with Piketon's ability to get out of sectionals and districts considering how much easier it is to get o...
