You are correct, they still count as State Tournament. My point was just additional information.

In the years 1925 to 1942, the number of teams that qualified for the State Tournament was quite different. They ranged from 8 to 16 teams each year until they settled on the four team for each division format.

Valley and Oak Hill is also postponed. Oak Hill's game Friday with Waverly is also postponed. The Valley game has been reschedule to 1/15/22 with a 3:00PM JV start.

All three of those games were postponed due to covid related issues

The Southern Ohio Conference Girls Tennis Tournament will be held 9/28 & 9/29 at Shawnee State beginning at 4:00PM.

The SOC Girls Tournament will be played on 9/22/21 @ The Elks Country Club beginning @ 3:30PM (moved back from 2:00 because of rain). The Boys Tournament will be played on 9/23/21 also at the Elks beginning at 11:00AM.

East was supposed to play Hillcrest out of Cincinnati. That game is cancelled. East is searching for a replacement.

I believe lighting might have been the big problem with the Complex. The summer league Tanks (before they shut down) were going to have to play earlier on Saturdays to try to get their games in before dark. The cost of fixing the old lights - I was told - would have been quite expensive.
