Re: Logan Sectonal

Can't argue with that - or the state of the TVC-Ohio this season. Athens had chances against Waverly, Gallia and Warren, but didn't cash in. Still have games at Lancaster, vs Jackson, vs Marietta, at Vinton, at Logan and at Alexander. Please beat Lancaster by 40. You were scheduled as a “win”, by t...

Re: Zach Loveday - Huntington Prep v Liberty Heights (NC)

Don't you know that only kids who should be playing at Rio Grande get redshirted at a D1? C'mon man!!! Oh, my bad!! All the 4 star and 5 star recruits on OSU's football team that redshirts seem to disagree. But some people on this board know better than those guys! :P How any nimrod who watches som...

Re: Tate Martell Transfering

To an extent, I sympathize for Tate Martell. And I say this as someone who long thought that Tate wasn’t going to work out with Ohio State. I sympathize with the fact he’s a young kid that committed to a school across the country to not just win a starting job but to play for Urban. Even after he lo...

Wellston could beat NC. Hard to build a program when you’re turning down an opportunity to beat one of the state’s most tradition-rich programs.

Re: Schiano Apparently Out At Ohio State

Good riddance Schiano!!! I don't know if this is good or bad? Greg Mattison is 69 years old and Ohio State just put up 62 on his Michigan defense a little over a month ago and Florida beat them up pretty good also in the Bowl game and you want him to take over the defense ? Big Ten is buddy buddy, ...

Re: Zach Loveday transferring

This is an unfortunate situation. And I feel sorry for the young man and his family. Obviously, they have been misled by people to believe this is a good move. I’m sure he did not make this decision on his own. Here you have a young man and family start the basketball season at his community school...

Re: 2019 Region 27

Way too early predictions, seedwise...

1. Trimble
2. Harvest Prep
.
.
3. Lucas**
4. Waterford
5. Berne Union
6. River
7. Notre Dame
8. Rosecrans

***
If Lucas in another region, then maybe NC sinks to D7. FC has a good QB and a good RB, but with no line they’re cashed.

Trimble is the favorite. No telling if Lucas will be back in 27, or if they get shifted back to Region 25 or 26. Harvest Prep is now playing on the side of the MSL with Whitehall, Bishop Ready, Bexley, Buckeye Valley and Columbus Academy. Waterford should still be good. BU graduates some studs, but...

Re: Zach Loveday transferring

I don’t get the hate anger. None of us SE Ohio guys are going to want anyone to leave our school ever. It’s clear cut he should leave but the timing seems to be the key bother. I doubt this was a 30 second discussion and decision. Agree or disagree the screaming and coming out of the woodwork seems...

Re: Attire

The day of a team looking and dressing alike or similar is pretty much going away. The uniformity has been transitioned to individuality. The problem is two-fold: a) styles have evolved and expanded over the past 15-20 years, leading to greater diversity of shoe coloring and patterns – kids like wh...

Re: Division 2 Tournament Southeastern

Yes it seems those Friday/Saturday back to backs are tough. Athens has a few of those this year. February 1st is a big one at the Alley in a huge TVC OHIO matchup and then playing your Ironmen on the 2nd. This Friday upcoming go to Warren and turn around and head to Lancaster on Saturday. Some inte...

Re: 2019 Region 27

Green should be a playoff contender again, I believe they have a good bit back. I believe East and Notre Dame has some key players back and should be improved but currently look like outside playoff teams. Who all does ND bring back? How are they numbers wise? We scrimmaged ND last year and managed...

A question for ya’s, What are your thoughts on the current sectional-> district setup, the way that the Southeast District does it? Do you like it? Do you find aggravation in the format here and there? In your mind, would a super-sectional format or even a procedure where the coaches can place their...

Re: Most difficult place to play?

For Fairfield County... Bloom-Carroll used to be tough as hell to play at and still is for some rivalry games. FU has become tough to win at these last couple of years. Fisher is still the toughest D4 house in Central Ohio, and probably is the toughest house in the county (excluding the Pickerington...

Re: What is the difference between McClain and Logan Elm?

On a serious note: one has been to the state tournament and the other hasn’t. Do both school districts peak into 2 different counties? That could be a difference if LE doesn’t. Logan Elm is Pickaway and Hocking Counties. A bit surprising...I’d guessed Fairfield. It’s map time https://development.oh...

Re: Where will Loveday sign????

I know he is only a junior, but seeing him play against any big man that has a bigger body, Woodside and the boy from Logan, I would think Rio Grande would be a great fit for him unless he can learn to play against real post players. Last years district performance should have been an embarrassment...

Re: 12/28 East Liverpool vs Wheelersburg

Liverpool was very athletic but not necessarily good at playing the game of basketball but they would beat probably most teams in the SOC. This is the best burg team I’ve seen in awhile. Could have a chance at the final four. Who in the world do they have to beat? In your opinion? Lol Harvest Prep ...
