Re: Week 2 Sciotoville East @ Danville
It was 13-6 up to the end of the third quarter. They battled and played hard. East was inside the 10 three times and came away with "0" ..They were beat mentally after the third goose egg...looked to me as if they got gassed and just gave it away. All you mouth breathers running East down ...

Re: Week 2 Sciotoville East @ Danville
I am a East fan and will agree that Danville is favored in this game. I won't pick against the Tartans though and I believe that they will give Danville all they want. I hope East can pull off the upset.

East(6) @ (42)Danville
Long trip for the Tartans. Danville is a very good football team. Going to be a test.

Re: Best qb?
If lowery wasn't a transplant he would be Burg's starter. Dyer is a good player but Lowery is well rounded.
Re: Best qb?
Yep without a doubt.
Re: Best qb?
Hatcher, Flannery, Gifford, Stevens, etc....Plenty to throw to and that can make a play
Re: Best qb?
I'm taking Douthat from East over all of them.

Re: My video preview of the SOC
back in the 80's and 90's the Daily Times used to put in the paper weekly the area stat leaders in the sports section. They would put rushing, passing, receiving, tackles, etc..with a small photo. Doing this again would be great for the kids and their respective schools. I feel the locals that follo...

Re: 2017 East Tartans
None of them would have made a bit of difference for this season. I couldn't name 4 or 5 kids that started varsity football as a freshman and made a huge difference impact in Scioto County in the last 20 years. With that said if you want to play the negative role go start your own thread. This one i...

Re: 2017 East Tartans
I found the answer myself tonight. These were kids in junior and not high school. So let's get back to the current varsity football program.

Re: 2017 East Tartans
Seniors graduate from every program each year and always leave holes to fill. Some that leave are great athletes and some are team leaders. The question is how does each program respond and fill in. I don't feel that East lost anyone that will change what they do this year. That isn't a jab at anyon...

Re: 2017 East Tartans
They played Minford, Valley, and Northwest. Don't know of any transfers. Offensively they scored fairly easy on all teams. Defensively you have some kids playing different positions and just need to get work in which I am sure they will. It's hard to tell a lot about 7v7s except that you have athlet...
