Re: IRONTON/WHEELERSBURG. WEEK 1.

Talking with some of the players they said that they've ran more this year than what we did last year and and they r in better shape then they have ever been so they will be able to go more than 4 quarters if needed, and we've always been in better shape then ironton, and lets just hope murphy can ...

Re: IRONTON/WHEELERSBURG. WEEK 1.

From what I have heard, Murphy had lost ten pounds over the summer and was working out hard the final weeks before physical fitness. Does anyone know how he has done in physical fitness so far? Murphy may be a great player and kid for all I know and I wish him the best. Apparently the above posts m...

Re: IRONTON/WHEELERSBURG. WEEK 1.

Our center(Frowine) will be able to hang with Murphy.. Me and My buddy...not going to mention any names but if your from ironton and know who i am..you know who is sitting next to me...just laughed so hard at this As absurd as it is to say a young man can handle another young man, although he never...

Re: Realistic Expectations of your Team?

let's clean up this mess you Tiger posters have made. Oh1 say what you want. But ironton has quit the league not once but twice. i pretty much believe the term quitter fits pretty well. You should have been like Logan and just stayed around and hoped the competition gets better. That is why i hate ...

Re: Realistic Expectations of your Team?

With Logan being D2 and Ironton D4, I would hope Logan could win a few. Ironton's history beats Logan's. No Contest. Until Logan can reach rhe accolades of I-Town. I would not be boasting about a few recent wins.

Re: Portsmouth's Sophomore Class

Myers will find himself somewhere on the D1 level form what I saw last year. Probably a MAC or C-USA. But I feel the wideout from last years FRosh Team will probably be heard of for quite awhile.

I said some of their tougher matches are at home. Of course this is going on last years schedule. Like I said I have no Idea what other teams will bring to the table. But traditionaly Burg's toughest games are Ironton and Portsmouth.

Re: Realistic Expectations of your Team?

I am actually pretty unsure of PHS this year. I know about what we have but it's more so the teams on our schedule that puzzle me. I think we'll most likely finish anywhere from 4-6 to 7-3 and be near the top of the SEOAL. From what I saw from last years Portsmouth Frosh vs Wburg Frosh game PHS mig...

Realistic Expectations of your Team?

I find it amusing reading everyone's take on their favorite team's upcoming season. I have no idea what other teams are going to do this upcoming season. I would like to read some true outlooks of your team. I am a Wheelersburg grad and this is what I kinda forsee the pirates doing based upon what p...

Re: SOC II 2008

When u play with kids somtimes 2yr older than most seniors, you can win a bunch of games .I think most schools are catching onto the hold 'em back rule .I look for things to change .. Dumb Response. That excuse has been used since I played in 93. I was sixteen starting my senior year. You cant play...

Unbelievable, I cant understand some of you posters. Lang was coached the whole week to keep the ball and not pitch. I watched the film on the Freddies and their D-Ends come straight up the field every snap which will take the pitch away and leave for the QB keep. Lang just made a mistake. But that ...

Freddies are good. They spread out wide and throw quick passes. The game I watched there was'nt much of a running game. D is quick but like some teams has some holes. Overall I thought Ridgewood looked better but who knows it really comes down too how you match up. I think Burg's D-line has an advan...
