Can anyone tell me what it would take for Fairfield Christian to make the playoffs. they are still mathematically alive but I dont undestand the point system very well when it comes down to what ifs. Thanks alot.

I dont believe that the old tired argument about private schools having this unfair advantage is valid anymore. The public schools have open enrollment which levels the playing field quite a bit.

I actually can see fca win on fri nite with a great effort. They have accomplished a whole lot in a short period of time. This is only our 2nd yr of playing a fully sanctioned ohsaa schedule. we also have a legendary coach and one of the best coaching staffs around. so dont count us out just yet.

If they win out Fairfield Christian should be in. But fri nite against youngstown christian will be very tough.

Actually miller hung tough against FCA and if they had an ounce of class or dicipline they may have kept it real close. I agree with you sv viking the FCA team you saw against notre dame last week was awful. But the team you havent seen can play with most any d6 team in the state. Still alot of football left

Last year was the first year that fca played a schedule of all ohsaa sanctioned teams. The program is only 4 years old. And in the playoffs last year they played newark catholic to a tie until the final seconds of the first half.

And do what beat FCA fair and square like FCA beat green.

I guess the bottom line is that you man up as a coach . Put the best team on the field as possible. And if you know you did all you could to prepare your team for the game you the accept the final score win, lose or get blown out and dont cry about what the other team did to you. Green can also get any player they want its called open enrollment. By the way with open enrollment there is no tuition involved like at a private school.

Green coach showed total lack of class for refusing to shake FCA coaches hand after the game. Its hard to tell the JV players to lay down and not try after practicing all week. The JV players were in most of the second half.

I would have to disagree with new lex and sheridan they play in a very weak mvl and sheridan gets all pumped up every yr and collapses like a house of cards in wk 11 or 12

Would love to agree with gwa about Ironton but i think in a matchup with Kenton or someone like them it would be very ugly for the tigers. But if they do I will travel north to watch them.
