Very informative article on cheerleading in 09-17-09 WSJ.

In January, Wisconsin Supreme Court declared that Cheerleading IS a sport.

(Cheerleading accounts for 65% of all female catastrophic injuries in high school and college)

just b/c in badger country they have 65% of female injuries coming from cheerleading doesn't mean its a sport. :mad: :mad: :lol: :lol: sounds like they need to do more cheerleading practice. :shock: ;-) :mad: :lol:

Cheiftain is correct.
Golf is a sport...not cheerleading.

cheerleading is not a sport
it dosent take that much talent to do
what they do. i know girls that play actual
sports like basketball and softball and can do
more flips than the cheerleaders.

it is NOT a sport , it is entertainment.
and i do not believe they should get letterman jacket for it.
