mallory brooks is agreat player, but, warren will be fine

dolak mckenna santini and farley have all been doing this for awhile...assisted by poage, abbott, mathews (i'm not sure what all juniors will return) and sophs to be white and proctor, plus freshman emma ryan

thats a pretty talented group still, almost all of them got great minutes last year in starting roles on varsity or jv

FROM THE LOOKS OF IT THIS YEAR'S TEAM HAS POTENTIAL. AFTER WATCHING A FEW SUMMER LEAGUE GAMES AND THE SHOOT OUT AT MARIETTA, I THINK THERE IS PLENTY OF TALENT TO COMPETE WITH ANY OPPONENT ON THE SCHEDULE, AND WIN SOME GAMES. FROM THE LOOKS OF THE RETURNING PLAYERS FROM THE JV AND VARSITY TEAMS, AND THE COUPLE OF FROSH, THIS TEAM WILL SURPRISE A LOT OF PEOPLE. :122245

I think that warren will need to improve their fundamentals before they think about winning big games. Dedication and desire will only get you so far. Back to the basics or some other washington county teams will show you how its done!

Brooks was not the entire team. It takes more than just
one person to complete a basketball team. Warren will be
amazing with lauer santini dolak farley white proctor and ryan
this year.

GO WARREN.

warrior,
Amazing might not be the best word of choice. If I remember correctly last years season didn't go amazingly either, with losses to teams you should have beat and drama on the court. With Brooks being the leading scorer someone else will have to step into those shoes, but I don't see anyone to do that as of right now. As the season goes on maybe someone will figure it out, we will just have to see. Being individuals on the court is not going to get you anywhere, teamwork and effort as a whole is what will make you succeed. I have a feeling warren will need to forget about "ME" and think more about "WE" this season if they want the chips to fall in their favor.

Any of you Warren posters ever stop and think about how much damage you are doing to the team? All you did last year, and so far this year is trash other people's kids and call them out. GROW UP!

Well warrior2012, i do believe the warren team will have some potential this year but you have a few things wrong. I heard that Santini is not playing this year, But the McKenna girl is along with Richards. And dont count the Rauch girl out either.

As long as they have fun and get some exercise... thats all that really counts! They are girls you know...Careful if you ask more than that out of them!

Warriiorfan: I don't know of any high school female athlete who is playing any sport just to have fun and get exercise. The female's who play for fun and to get exercise usually stop playing by the sixth grade. Today's female high school athletes are talented, competitive, driven young women who play for pride, tradition and for the love of the game.

Attend a game this season - at any school - and you'll find the courts, tracks and fields full of top caliber athletes!

per the following post, I do now notice the little eye-roller on Warriiorfans post. Usually quick on the sarcasm, missed that one!

Just depends who you are talking to...whose daughter gets cut or is not playing as much as their parent wishes...

ideally, much sarcasm here!

That's too bad. Any highlights? Maybe just lots of room for improvement.
