Andy Schein the former Nelsonville-York assistant. Has coached 4 state placers and 7 State Qualifiers over the last 4 years alone. Very Very good pick up. Really should help elevate the program. Wrestled for Logan High late 90's.

Andy is a 2001 graduate of Logan. He has also been an assistant coach at Logan and Athens as well as Nelsonville. Good luck Andy and the Wellston program.

Glad to hear that i just read that Les DeLong had left the school and that Andrew Schein was hired as Physical Education teacher. The article never said he was a coach.

Don't forget that jackson peewee is open to all kids from the area. The coaches work hard and the more kids the better for wellston and jackson. There will be sign ups in the newspapers around nov. dec. time frame I would think. This program is geared to get kids interested and have some fun but also touches on technique and sportsmanship. They have several matches throughout the year that won't cost the kids anything. Spread the word and lets build a great wrestling community in wellston and jackson. No special equipment required but if they have shoes and such that's fine to.

I help out with Wellston's Wrestling Team, and I meet him. He is a nice man, knows what he is talking about, and good morals. The only problem he might have would be that the numbers are down at Wellston.

I have been encouraging some of my students out at BHCC who have wrestled in the past to give it a go again this year. Best of luck this season.
