Oaks defense was very stingy. The offense was not bad with two backs going over 100 yards and the QB around 100 yards and 2 TDs. You could tell Oak Hill had a new attitude compared to last year. I look for the Oaks to be ready with the defense rising to the occasion again this week. My two cents for what it's worth....Oaks 35 Alexander 6

Your right Bevo, teams can look very different from week 1 to 2 but most of the time if a team is strong defensively it is much easier to be consistent on the defensive side of the ball than on offense. Oak Hill will be much better this season because their defense is better and will keep them more consistent.

Oak hill did win big last week but Chesapeake was awful, they didn't want to tackle. Alexander wins by a touchdown or two

Oak Hill by 20. Alex was exposed against the Lancers, and they will not improve enough in one week to be able to overcome a better quality opponent.

Oak Hill surprised a lot of people in week one, thoroughly shutting down what many thought could be a 5-5 Chesapeake team with a winning OVC record. Chesapeake is in for a long year, but Oak Hill could surprise a lot more people before the season is through. Gotta go with the Oaks again tomorrow.
