SEOP/E A Supply Pickem Week 1 Results

Postby sprinter14 » August 26th, 2012, 1:08 pm

Week #1 is always the toughest and tough for me to grade, took a while to get back into the swing of things AND a lot of people play in week #1.

Congratulations to Burg Grad77 on winning week #1 outright with a great 21-4 record!!!

The average player was around 17-8 or 16-9. 150 People have begun the contest!!

When you look for your name in the standings, I may have abbreviated your screen name to try and save some time. For example, Yabbadabbadoo is just "Yabba" and Pope Snoopdog the whatever is just "snoopdog". If you cannot find yourself on here, or if I made a mistake, please just PM me.

Awesome man!!! I figured 21-4 would be somewhere near the top, but I never thought it would be the best of the week.

Thanks for doing this again Sprinter!!

If you go back and read his post about the contest you will see that he will use different area teams as much as he could and not every school would be used weekly.

I'm sure Logan and NY will be back in the contest and probably next week.

It's funny because the last time I looked at the map of Ohio both of these schools were east of Rt 23 and south of Rt 70 which would put them in the southeastern quadrant of the state. This contest has always used these schools every year since it began so why would he not include them now.

yes they might be east of 23 and south of 70 but lancaster is central ohio...and Amanda is well north of lancaster.....and westfall-logan Elm is even farther.....like said before his contest......but think people are more intrested in local teams......

And on that note we have a lot of people on here from Amanda, Lancaster, Logan, Logan Elm, Circleville, etc so to them these are local teams. lol

Who cares if some of the games are outside of the "deep south" of SE Ohio. I'm by no means complaining, but I actually wouldn't mind seeing 2 or 3 completely out of area games a week. It would make the contest more interesting and would challenge people more.
