Who will be the winner? Will piketon get it 3 times in a row? Or will my tigers get a huge win?

If waverly turns the ball over as much as they did last year piketon will win easily.

In the last 4 years the biggest point difference has been 14 points, Waverly 21 Piketon 7 in 2009. Every other game has been right at 7 points or less. Piketon is probably favored, but it should be a good game. The Streaks only lost 3 O linemen and a wr/db. Lets go Streaks!~

Piketon will win this one.
I'm looking for the Streaks to have a good season if their line holds up.

This game will be a good one both teams have good qb's, waverly's ground game should be solid along with piketon's. The O and D line of both teams will be a huge factor in who wins this one.

Pulling for Waverly in this one. Opening game, there are going to be mistakes made by both teams. The team that makes the least mistakes should win. Hope for no injuries for either teams, and good luck to both.

Line play and cohesion will be key in this game. How well will the big guys up front work together to open up holes and keep the QB on their feet?
Kicking game could be crucial. PAT's need to be made a missed PAT could be the difference. A return on punts on kickoffs could prove important as coverage teams may not be 100% ready for game speed. All are just thoughts from what I have seen in opening games. Should be a good one.

Anxious to see the Tigers this Saturday at 10:00a.m.
Come out and support the boys as well as the different stadium fundraising efforts (fish fry, silent auction, community yard sale, and more).

My vote is for theTigers.. I don't think Piketon's defense can stop Waverly.. I say, 42-28 tigers.

Tickets are on sale at both high schools. Piketon is looking pretty good on both sides of the ball. Lets Go Streaks!

Piketon did look good on both sides of the ball against Porstmouth, but they looked very weak on defense against Valley and Notre Dame a week prior. Maybe that got their defense back on track or Portsmouths offense is not very good. Either way Piketon dont look bad as a team and look very good on offense. Will be hard for anyone to hold them out of the endzone. But I believe Waverly should have a very strong offense too. This game may come down to who has the ball last.

I think your putting way to much stock in scrimmages! lol Piketon returned every skill position back on ofense and return 9 on defense. They have 18 seniors, 15 of them start. Now, this game will be close, but Piketon has won the last 2 games, the odds are on their side. But of course that is why they play the game! Lets Go Streaks~!

I never put them down. I said they looked very good on offense and as a team against Portsmouth. I was actually surprised and impressed by Piketon. I just think it will be a high scoring game. I believe Waverly is on the upswing.

Watched footage of piketon today they look good. I think waverly has a slight advantage offensively against their defense. Their offense is quick we need to keep their qb in check or it will get ugly for us quick. Good luck

I have seen Piketon play this year at Valley and I think Waverly will have their hands full. Piketon has a very good QB that Waverly is going to have to stop along with the size on the line. Piketons D is going to have to step it up a little that seem to be their weakness. Should be a good game though

The hot word around the SVC is that Piketon is Stompin' Mud Holes and then Walkin' em' dry.
Look for the Streaks to win big on their way to a perfect season and Gold ball!

WOW.......They look pretty good on Offense. But "Stompin' Mud Holes"? Thats pretty Bold. Maybe if they shore up their Defense a little bit i would call them a contender in the SVC. Lets see how they hold up against Waverly first.

Don't think piketon will stop waverlys ground game, their d line is slow and linebackers don't step up to fill the gaps. Stop brabson and we win.

i agree.. Brabson is a great qb. if we stop him, we'll win easy.. he's very tough though, because he can run fast and very agile, but he can also throw the ball. Stop Brabson, i think we have this one by 2 Touchdowns.
