Not sure. I heard that Portsmouth was trying to fight releasing him. He does live in the Minford district so I dont see how Portsmouth's plan will hold up.

There haven't been school district releases for years now in high school. These decisions are 100% up to the OHSAA.

Looks like Stapleton. He is now eligible and I believe Howard got injured in the scrimmage against Fairland. Hated to see him get hurt. Heard it was either bruised or possibly broken ribs.

I think the offense will take care of it's self, but the defense needs some work. The offense has to quit turning the ball over. It is hard to score, when you keep giving the ball away. I too like the young kids running the ball, they are just a Touchdown waiting to happen. And I think Stapleton will make a big difference with his feet, he makes calling plays a little easier. We have alot of speed again this year, on defense, but nobody wants to tackle. There is only a few players that will stand up and make the hit, and the tackle. It is almost like they are playing the positions for the first time. I know that they are not, but they just don't have their act together yet. To many people standing around waiting on someone else to stop the ball. But I know my old Buddy Coach M. will get them lined out.
Like I said, I think the Falcons will take this one. But with the young players we have, the coaches are going to have their hands full. After last years record, we have to learn how to win, all over again. I know it is early, but I think we have the talent to win some games this year. And who knows, maybe even enough to compete for the S.O.C. We will see!!!
Good Luck to my Falcons, let's start something Amazing this Friday!!!
