The SVC has a really neat tradition wherein if you win the league undefeated in whatever sport you receive a gold ball trophy.

The Pioneers clinched at least a share of the SVC last night with their win at Southeastern, and if they can beat improving Paint Valley (4-5) in Kinnikinnick next Friday will win the gold football.

Also on the line are possible playoff implications for the Pioneers who currently sit #7 in DIV, Reg 15. Portsmouth, Alexander and Hartley are all hoping to slip in. If the playoffs opened next Friday the Pioneers would be traveling to Ironton in week 11.

ZT has run off six straight wins since losing to Amanda Clearcreek and Logan Elm in weeks 2-3. No shame in losing to quality teams like those for sure.

Do not worry Z.T golden ball or not have no fear you will win the SVC Piketon has your back up in westfall like h311 piketon will let them get another championship
